Hello everyone,
As President of the ORL, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the beginning of a new Rugby season for 2022. After the negative effects that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on our lives for the last two years, it is now time to finally enjoy the great sport of rugby league again.
The ORL Board has a lot of new faces this year and we’re all looking forward to working hard and making this season one of the most enjoyable ones yet. Please join with me and welcome your new ORL board for 2022:

Outdoor training has already begun for the Masters’, Men’s and Women’s programmes, and a full fixture schedule is planned for all of the above groups. Please see the events calendar for upcoming dates and visit https://ontariorl.ca/registration/ to register now. Fees for the season are as follows:
- $30.00 ORL Membership Fee
- $70.00 CRLA Insurance Fee
- $75.00 Programming Fee (Applies to Senior Men’s and Women’s athletes only as Greybeards will be collecting their own dues separately)
We also hope to get a Junior/High School programme up and running in the fall.
I would also like to extend my congratulations to all the Ontario athletes who were selected to the first upcoming Canada Ravens camp in BC, to contest for a place on the Canada Ravens squad. The Ravens will be competing for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup in England this November.
Additionally, I am excited to announce that the Ontario Greybeards Masters RL squad will also be breaking new ground and heading west to Vancouver in May to play a series of games against BC select teams.
Finally, I would like to wish everyone a very successful 2022 season and best wishes and good health to your families and loved ones.
All the best,
Chris Bond
ORL President
